Getting Started
Prepping for our first session

This is where we will keep track of our adventures! In a (somewhat) timely fashion following each of our sessions, I'll post notes here that will help you remember key points down the road, or allow you to catch up on the action if you miss a meeting. Feel free to refer back to it. General knowledge about the world we travel through can be found on the Wiki. I've set up a bit of background you can look over before next week (it's all things I touched on at our organizational meeting).

 

We will be starting our adventure in Orozco, near the border of Bargel.

 

Below is a list of items that you may start the adventure with. Everyone has the base travel pack (contents listed below). I assume you also have the tools of your trade; if you are a bard, then you have your instrument of choice. A wizard would have a book of magic, a cleric their holy symbols, etc. Let me know if you have any of these items. I've listed basic armor for different types of characters you all discussed using to make it easier for you to pick and add to your character. If you need different armor than you see here, make the case to me about using it. You may choose one item of armor, one weapon, and one special item to start out with in addition to your base travel pack. It won't matter if you choose the same item as someone else.

 

Basic Adventuring kit:

  • Bedroll

  • Rope (20ft for Medium characters, 10ft for small)

  • tinderbox
  • 100 gp (averaged this out to make it easy. If you can explain why your character would have more money, convince me)
